Our aim is to provide sports facilities and training for young people with disabilities living within the Wakefield area.We do this by meeting weekly on Saturdays between 12.00 - 14.00 at the Sports Hall of Normanton Freeston Enterprise College Favell Avenue Normanton. NEW Wheelchair Basketball 6pm-7.30pm Fridays at FreestonUPCOMING EVENTS Saturday 28th June - West Yorkshire Youth Games at Leeds Met. Carnegie Campus, Leeds. Sunday 29th June - Annual Northern 5-a-side Football Tournament at Harrogate. Sunday 29th June - Vision 5K - fundraising event in Roundhay Park, Leeds for SENSE (details from www.vision5kuk@sense.org) Friday 4th - Sunday 6th July - DSE National Junior Athletics Championships in Blackpool. Wednesday 23rd July - Able2 Athletics sessions at Freeston. 12.00 - 2.00. Also: Wednesdays 30th July, 6th August, 13th August, 20th August and 27th August (the final week will involve an Athletics Event and will run from 12.00 - 4.00) Thursday 24th and Friday 25th July - volunteering opportunity.
